About

Hi, I’m the Founder & CEO of AQ’s Corner LLC, a mother-daughter-led cybersecurity and digital wellness mission. I’m a cybersecurity analyst, author, mom, and digital safety advocate who believes protection should feel like power, not panic.

With nearly 20 years in technology, I have worked across federal agencies, startups, and mission driven organizations, always with one focus: advancing missions where cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and digital wellness are clear, accessible, and empowering for the people who need it most, families, educators, small business owners, and seniors.

I began my career in software testing, technical writing, and project management, building systems that had to work reliably and responsibly. Over time, my path expanded into cybersecurity, where I led and supported efforts in incident response, compliance, digital risk management, and secure by design thinking. As technology evolved, so did my work, naturally extending into AI literacy and responsible technology education.

Today, I dedicate myself to building a people first mission that bridges cybersecurity and AI education. I help individuals and communities move through digital spaces with confidence, clarity, and informed leadership, not fear.

AQ’s Corner was born from a simple belief:

Security and AI should be understandable, actionable, and empowering.

Inspired by My Daughter

When my daughter asked what I do for work, I realized I needed a better way to explain it. Together, we co-authored Emani and the CyberHero Response Team, a story that helps kids and their grown-ups understand the basics of online safety in a fun, story driven way. That spark grew into additional interactive coloring and activity books designed to make cybersecurity and AI concepts approachable for young learners.

That mother-daughter moment ignited a larger mission: to make cybersecurity and AI education relatable, inclusive, and powerful for all ages.

Partnering with educators, youth leaders, and nonprofits to bring cybersecurity to life through engaging read-alouds, interactive digital exercises, and pilot programs. Perfect for classrooms, libraries, and after-school spaces.

CyberHero App (Paused, but Still Powering Up)
An innovative project aimed at reimagining how kids learn about digital safety. While development is paused, the mission remains: create fresh, age-appropriate tools that empower young digital citizens through experiences that last.

I’m Aqueelah

With over 20 years in technology, my career began in software testing and systems validation, where I developed a deep understanding of how digital systems are built, assessed, and strengthened. Today, my work sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, AI governance, and digital risk.

I am also a parent raising a digitally curious child in a rapidly evolving world.

That dual perspective shapes everything I build.

Through AQ’S CORNER LLC, I bridge infrastructure-level thinking with real-world family guidance. I focus on cybersecurity education, AI governance, and cross-generational digital safety, helping organizations, educators, and families move from awareness to structured, responsible action.

Technology will continue to evolve. Our responsibility to steward it wisely must evolve with it.

Confronting AI Bias Through Policy, Governance, and Accountability

AI bias isn’t theoretical. It shows up in real systems, affecting real people, often without clear reporting paths or accountability. I documented a live AI bias incident and submitted a formal open letter calling for stronger governance, clearer escalation mechanisms, and measurable safeguards aligned with public-interest standards. This work focuses on turning lived technical failures into policy-ready insight.
