AI Safety With Emani
Smart Tools With Emani

When we wrote Emani and the CyberHero Response Team, our goal was simple: help children understand that they are not powerless in the digital world. They are capable. They have agency. They can make thoughtful decisions online.

That message sparked workshops, school visits, and community conversations about digital safety.

As those conversations grew, so did the questions, especially around artificial intelligence.

Children are interacting with AI tools earlier than ever. They deserve language that helps them understand what these tools are, how they work, and how to make responsible choices.

That is why we created the CyberHero AI Safety Coloring Books.

Coloring Book One: AI Safety With Emani

This book introduces children to the fundamentals of AI in a simple, empowering, and age-appropriate way. It reinforces that AI systems are built by humans and that children still have choices when engaging with technology.

Coloring Book Two: Smart Tools With Emani

This book expands the conversation to smart tools, digital decision-making, and how technology influences attention and behavior. It encourages reflection, curiosity, and discernment.

These books are designed to support families, classrooms, and community groups in having thoughtful conversations about AI and digital responsibility.

Book Two of Emani and the CyberHero Response Team is still in progress. The story continues. The mission continues.

While the next chapter is being written, these companion books create space for children to slow down, think critically, and build digital confidence.

I’m Aqueelah

Cybersecurity isn’t just my profession, it’s a passion I share with the most important person in my life: my daughter. As I grow in this ever-evolving field, I see it through both a professional lens and a mother’s eyes, understanding the critical need to protect our digital spaces for future generations.

Confronting AI Bias Through Policy, Governance, and Accountability

AI bias isn’t theoretical. It shows up in real systems, affecting real people, often without clear reporting paths or accountability. I documented a live AI bias incident and submitted a formal open letter calling for stronger governance, clearer escalation mechanisms, and measurable safeguards aligned with public-interest standards. This work focuses on turning lived technical failures into policy-ready insight.
