Press Release: Local Mother–Daughter CyberHero Authors Featured at Shon’s Stories Kids Book Bash

Fayetteville, NC — January 10, 2026

Aqueelah Emanuel, founder of AQ’s Corner LLC and co-author of the children’s cybersecurity book Emani and the CyberHero Response Team, will appear alongside her daughter, co-author and creative partner Emani Emanuel, at Shon’s Stories Kids Book Bash: Author Spotlight on March 14, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Cliffdale Recreation Center in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

Hosted by Shon’s Stories, the Kids Book Bash brings together children’s authors, families, and community partners for a full day celebrating literacy, creativity, and youth voices. Emanuel and her daughter will be featured as spotlight authors, sharing their work at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and digital safety.

At the event, families will have the opportunity to meet the mother–daughter author duo, explore their children’s book focused on cybersecurity awareness, and engage in light, family-friendly conversations about staying safe in an increasingly digital world. Copies of Emani and the CyberHero Response Team will be available.

Emanuel’s work through AQ’s Corner centers on making complex digital topics feel approachable, especially for children, parents, and multigenerational families. Her presence at the Kids Book Bash reflects a growing community interest in books and programs that blend literacy, confidence-building, and real-world relevance.

In addition to author appearances, AQ’s Corner offers workshops, activities, and collaborative programming focused on cybersecurity and AI education for families and seniors.
